Entering Europe

This module explores opportunities in raising capital and drug development abroad, with a particular focus on the advantages of Switzerland. OneMedPlace collaborated with Greater Zurich Area AG to produce a white paper exploring investment in Swiss life sciences companies, analyzing the unique liquidity and availability of scarpe basket jordan Swiss capital, success of venture funds and private equity and the growth of the Swiss public markets. The paper also explored the unique socio-political pillars of Switzerland, including the beneficial tax structure, osmosis of private and public sector in fostering research and unmatched quality of life, which makes the Greater Zurich Area a particularly intriguing market for life sciences companies and foreign investors.

In addition, OneMedRadio conducted a series of interviews with company executives to serve as case studies for successful development in the Greater Zurich Area.

As Senior Advisor Americas for GZA ( Greater Zurich Area), Mr. Ebert has over 25 years of experience in the field of international economic development, workforce development and trans‑national business recruitment. Mr. Ebert’s career includes extensive work in direct foreign investment promotion, relocation advisement and long-range strategic planning for multinational corporate clients, SMEs and startups, governmental organizations, and NGOs. Mr. Ebert brings extensive foreign direct investment expertise and multidisciplinary relationships to GZA. He has deep networks in the life sciences, ICT, micro and nanotechnology, environmental and cleantech, consumer goods, automotive and aerospace industries.

Functional activity has included advising multi-nationals, SMEs and technology start-ups in the areas of site-selection, relocation, and research facilities for projects in manufacturing, R&D, Headquarters, backend finance and treasury. Regions represented include GZA (Greater Zurich Area), GGBa (Greater Geneva Bern area) DEWS (Development Economic Western Switzerland) , ISPAT (Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey – Prime Ministry of Turkey) as well as several North American regions in an informal capacity. For each of these scarpe basket jordan regions, Mr. Ebert has implemented a “systematic approach” to successfully attract a variety of projects from supply chain management and logistics centers to R&D projects and research centers as well as manufacturing, financial and headquarters projects.

Prior to his work in economic development, Mr. Ebert specialized in work-force development and was Vice President of Consulting and Client Services for an international outplacement firm. He had oversight for 50 offices nationwide where he developed and implemented career training programs for senior level executives, mid-level managers and general workforce employees.
