In last week’s Sentinel, OneMedPlace erroneously reported that Symphony Medical had initiated a Phase II clinical trial of their Plexisyl-AF® device to treat atrial fibrillation when in fact, this study has already been completed in 2008. We apologize for the error by our editorial staff. The story we intended to report on was about Symphony’s successful first implant of its novel biopolymer therapy Algisyl-LVR®, in a congestive heart failure patient at the German Heart Center in Munich.
