Over 100 companies and 500 investors are expected to attend the 2010 OneMedPlace Finance Forum, to take place from January 12-14 in San Francisco. The 3rd annual conference will connect emerging healthcare and life science companies with investors and strategic partners. The OneMedForum will run parallel to the JP Morgan Healthcare Conference, the largest gathering of healthcare executives and financers in the world.
Building on its success from the previous two years, the OneMedForum will expand from two to three days and from 60 to over 100 company presentations. This year’s conference will include tracks for both private and public companies, as well as panel presentations and a third day dedicated to Health Services and Information Technology. This will include an examination of the impacts and opportunities connected to healthcare reform and the stimulus package.
AdvaMed, the Advanced Medical Technology Association, will be a lead sponsor of the OneMedForum. The organization will also host the kick-off reception at the Sir Francis Drake Hotel on January 12. “One of AdvaMed’s key goals is to provide support to emerging companies to help them grow, including connecting with potential partners and sources of funding,” says Andrew Calhoun, Vice President for Member Services at AdvaMed. “The Finance Forum is a great venue for that.”
