Citibank files to raise $100 million to fund Global Silicon Valley Capital [GSVC]. This comes on the back of a $50 million financing in May to provide investors an opportunity to own equity in promising technology companies. GSVC success could have an impact on growth company finance in a broad sense as it provides a new model in a dying IPO ecosystem. (see interview)

Diagnostics Columnist joins OneMedSentinel. Peter Winter founded the Canadian Biotechnology Report before it was acquired by Burrill. He then served as Editorial Director for Burrill and Company for 8 years. His periodic column will include summaries of important developments and financings  in the global diagnostics field.

OneMedForum 2012 announced it has begun selection of companies that will be presenting at it’s 5th Annual Forum. Several of the firms can also been seen at the Rodman and Renshaw conference. Learn their location and presentation times.

Wound Management [WNDM] closes major distribution deal for lead product. Their CellerateRX wound care product is experiencing rapid market acceptance.
