Burrill & Company recently announced that Dr. Dirk Lammerts has been appointed as Managing Director of Digital Health. This follows on the successful Digital Health conference that was held last month in San Francisco. Dr. Lammerts has more than 20 years of professional experience in the healthcare, life sciences, and high-tech industries. Prior to joining Burrill & Company he worked as Vice President Marketing and Corporate Development at XDx, an innovative personalized medicine company, where he was responsible for driving adoption of the company’s flagship AlloMap molecular diagnostic test and corporate development activities. He also held positions as Vice President Molecular Diagnostics at Affymetrix and was a senior engagement manager for McKinsey & Company advising clients across a broad spectrum of industries in the U.S., Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Dr. Lammerts holds an MD from Dusseldorf University Medical School and trained in Neurology at the University of Cologne Medical Center.
