Health 2.0 Goes to Washington, a one-day event introducing the Health 2.0 community to D.C., is almost here! The Health 2.0 Conference is the leading showcase of cutting-edge technologies in health care, including Online Communities, Search and Tools, that allow consumers to manage their health and connect to providers online. The event will take place June 7, 2010 at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, D.C.

The conference will address the latest developments in meaningful use, consumer adoption, and more, with panel discussions and workshops featuring prominent healthcare information technology experts. Organizers recently added two special sessions to the conference: “Patients 2.0” will bring together 7 ePatients who will share their experiences navigating the healthcare system and the world of Health 2.0. “Moving the Needle on Innovation Together” is a hands-on session highlighting federal initiatives where the government is funding programs and seeking solutions from the Health 2.0 innovation community to “move the needle forward” on national healthcare priorities. Attendees will also have the opportunity to watch technological demonstrations from more than 30 leading Health 2.0 companies.
