UCSF doctors have developed a test that, using just a drop of blood taken within hours of a baby’s birth, can determine whether that child has a rare but potentially fatal immune deficiency disorder.
Advanced Life Sciences (OTC BB: ADLS) took two steps this week toward advancing its lead drug candidate, Restanza.
The company’s lead product is Restanza (cethromycin), a novel once-a-day antibiotic for the treatment of life-threatening bacterial infections and bioterror pathogens.
